Things Look Better In Black and White

Summer 2010 Update:

After much second-guessing, prevaricating, procrastinating, and other forms of delaying my own efforts, Longenblog is finally up and posted.

You can check it out here: http://johnlongenbaugh.blogspot.com/

If all goes swimmingly, I'll have it linked to this site in the next couple of weeks.

You probably know me if you're here. In which case, let's have lunch. Soon.

If not, this will tell you just a little about me, as well as providing some information on the plays I've written. Every once in a while I put something here that I've written and want to try out--a short scene or an essay or something like that. If I'm involved in a project that's coming up, there'll be information on that too.

I live and work in Seattle, and write for a variety of publications, including the Seattle Weekly, where I have a column. I do occasional writing and editing for all sorts of other people and projects--everything from video games to travel guides to webisodes.

I also occasionally write to The Stranger, which makes them very excited, but I don't do that so much any more. (They miss me.)

My e-mail is jlongenb@blarg.net . Write me if you like.

Why don't they build things like this any more? The Bubblelator, 1962 Seattle World's Fair.
